MS Office 365 OWA: Insert image to signature or automatic reply email

The editor using for signature or automatic reply email is not support a native function to insert image to the content. So if you need an image in your signature or automatic reply email, you can do a work around as the following:

1. Upload your image to a website, and you can access this image via an URL.

2. Using IE or MS Edge to browse the image via its URL.

3. Right click on the image then select Copy, then paste to the editor by pressing Ctrl + V

Google Search Console: Googlebot cannot access CSS and JS files

Google recently has sent a warning email "Googlebot cannot access CSS and JS files" to webmasters. In the email, Google said that the ranking will be affected if it can not access your CSS and JS files (quote: "Google understand that your website works properly so blocking access to these assets can result in suboptimal rankings"). This may be came from changes in Google's algorithms recently especially on mobile.

 

The warning email also shows you a solution to fix, but it may cause you take time to follow or research. Actually, you can solve the problem simply by modifying the robots.txt file on your website (e.g. http://yourwebsite.com/robots.txt). Just allow folders that contains your CSS and JS files. Below is the robots.txt file of my Joomla website after modified:

The syntax to allow is:
Allow: /thefoldername/

You can use "robots.txt Tester" tool in your webmaster tool to verify again to make sure Googlebot can access these files well. That's all.

Google Drive on desktop: how to use multiple accounts

According to Google in this support link: "If you're using Drive, Docs, Sheets, or Slides on the web or a mobile device, you can sign in to multiple accounts, for example a work and personal account, and switch between them. But, if you're using the Drive folder on your computer, you can only sign into one account at a time." So if you love to use Google Drive to store & sync files to your multiple Google accounts on desktop, you must find another solution.

In this article, I'll show you how to use multiple accounts of Google Drive on PC. There are many third party applications supporting multiple accounts of Google Drive on PC, but almost of them will charge you money which can be used to extend your Google Drive space instead of buying new application. If you have money, I think you should buy more space for your Google Drive. If you have no money, here is the free solution.

Solution 1:
+Setup multiple user accounts on your OS (Windows)
+Each user, you will install a Google Drive with 1 your Google account
+Share the access permission of folders of Google Drive between user accounts
Advantage: you can have a number of accounts that you want. So you will have more free space on Google Cloud without paying more money.
Disadvantage: you can not sync folders at the same time to Google Cloud, you must switch between users of your OS.

Solution 2:
+Use odrive for other Google account + your existing Google Drive
+Install odrive, follow its website for how to. It's quite simple. I highlight here some basic steps: download >> install >> open odrive on your PC >> double click on the folder naming Google Drive >> connect to your Google account >> sync >> done
Advantage: You can use 2 Google accounts at the same time for syncing. That means you will have double size on Google Cloud at the same time. Beside that, odrive also supports DropBox and Facebook. So you can have more users of DropBox or Facebook.
Disadvantage: odrive just gives you free 1 account, that's reason why this solution still use Google Drive app for other account.

Gmail: using canned responses to respond incoming email automatically

If you use Gmail, you can create an email response automatically for incoming emails. Let image that you need an auto-responder email when you receive any application or order email, for example "Thank you for your application/order, we’ll get back to you soon.", it's worth for money.

In this article, I'll share you steps to create this auto-responder email.

1. Enable Canned Responses
In your Gmail, go to Settings >> Labs >> choose Enable Canned Responses >> click Save Changes button in the bottom.

2. Create new Canned Responses email template
Click Compose button >> then edit the template >> click drop down button at right-bottom >> click Canned responses >> click New canned response >> click OK >> then click trash icon to delete this email draft. Note: This Canned Response function doesn't work if you don't delete the Draft email which is used for creating the template.

3. Create filter for incoming emails
Go to Settings >> Labs >> click Filters >> click Create a new filter >> in TO box, key your email if you want to make auto-responder for all incoming emails, if you just need for some emails, let set the filters as your need >> click Continue >> select Send canned response template >> click OK

Done! Now if someone send email to you, they will receive an auto-responder message.

BlueStacks: use Android apps or play games on PC or MAC easily

If you have a favorite app or game on Android, you can use it on your PC easily with BlueStacks.

What is BlueStacks?
BlueStacks has full name as BlueStacks App Player, it is an Android emulator that lets you use Android apps or games on PC or MAC. 1. Use Play Store
After downloading & installing BlueStacks, go to its Search function to search your wanted apps or games.

The click Search Play... button.

In the first time, it requires you login to your Google account. In the search result, choose your wanted app to install like installing app on Android mobile phone.

2. Use APK file
APK file is an Android Package file, and it is the installer file for Android apps.
For some reasons in some cases, Play Store on BlueStacks may not work well or the app isn't available on the Play Store, it just has APK file.
To install, just find & download APK file to your PC, double click on it OR drag & drop it to BlueStacks home screen, then confirm that you want to install the app.

3. Use BlueStacks Cloud Connect
If Play Store and APK file don't work for you, you still don't end up here, you can use this last solution. BlueStacks Cloud Connect helps you sync selected apps from your smart phone to your PC. Below are steps to do:
+Open BlueStacks Settings by dragging down the right upper part of BlueStacks

+Then click on Cloud Connect and proceed further. It will require youe email & phone, then give you a PIN code.
+On your smart phone, let install BlueStacks Cloud Connect from Play Store. Then open the app and pair your phone with your PC by typing in your PIN. After that, you can tap any app you want to sync and tap Sync button.
+Open BlueStacks on your PC and enjoy the synced app or game.
